A few answers to some questions I got multiple times, condensed together for brevity's sake:

-- Yes, I am on the TMZ TV show. I am one of the only people that pitches any stories from a desk. I sit right in front of where Harvey stands all meeting long.

-- Desmond and Penny's son is named after Charlie -- he's not ACTUALLY Charlie. That would be insane.

-- As proved by last week's show, Locke is not faking his death by using the paralyzing spiders, just like the two people who shall never be named. I'm sorry, but that was kinda the worst theory I ever heard.

Q -- In The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham, how do you think Widmore  
knew that Ben tried killing Locke before??? -- Janie

A -- That's a great question. That stood out to me too and to be  
honest, I don't have an answer.

A few quick items before we move on --

-- OMFG ... "Damages" blew my mind last week. This show is a must-watch right now.

-- OMFG ... "Gossip Girl" sucked this week. The Chuck Bass storyline was moronic.

Q -- My question is, do you think that Widmore is Faraday's father? Ellie and Widmore were on the island at the same time and it makes sense that Ellie is Faraday's mother. At first I thought that Widmore was funding Faraday's research because he was interested in the time travel and maybe hoped to use it to go back in time or back to the island. But now I think that he may be funding it because that's actually his son. What do you think? -- Kristen

A -- There were a lot of questions this week about who is related to who after the episode. This is my favorite one -- Widmore and Mrs. Hawking are Faraday's parents. I support this one and only this one.

Welcome to the first LDQA of 2009.

For those of you that don't know, here's how it works -- ask me a question, I answer it. Doesn't have to be about "Lost." Doesn't have to be about TMZ. Doesn't have to be about Prince. Doesn't have to be about Jennifer Love Hewitt. Ok, maybe that one.

Q -- Do we know exactly who Mrs. Hawkins is?  When I saw her I recognized her from the bit w/ Des.  But I really cant remember details.  What do we know about her?  I felt confused to see her again. Can you post a summary of what we know/don't know about her thus far? -- Cheryl

A -- It's that time of year again, folks -- time for me to tell you all about Lostpedia. Look, no one can remember everything that goes on on "Lost." I watch the show twice a week, write a 1,000 word article about it, then get a couple hundred emails about it -- and even I forget shit. Bookmark Lostpedia and use it without caution.
